Serving as the Procurement Lead on a multidisciplinary team developing an innovative Liquid Propellant Rotating Detonation Rocket Engine (RDRE) for Nobel and R3 Aerospace. The project aims to advance aerospace propulsion by optimizing RDRE technology, which promises higher efficiency and reduced fuel consumption compared to traditional rocket engines.Responsibilities include managing the procurement of critical materials and components to ensure timely fabrication and testing. The project involves the design, simulation, and fabrication of a heavy-weight RDRE prototype, followed by a design-only phase for a flight-weight engine. The team will optimize detonation wave dynamics and ensure structural integrity under operating conditions.
