My main responsibilities included assisting with redrafting Specific Conditions of Employment (SCE's) for local agents employed by our EU Delegations around the world. This was to ensure their national labour laws were incorporated within their EU employment contracts. I also carried out legal research into employment and tax law issues from the Delegations. I was involved in monitoring and following-up the income tax situation in all 140 Delegations to make sure the system of payment was being respected.

Attended depositions, interrogatories, court, evictions and numerous other legal situations including negotiation proceedings at the DA's office with one of the partners. Took minutes of meetings and received an insight into handling various cases, for example forgery, contractual discrepancies, prescriptive easements, assault, property and construction transactions in Las Vegas and the surrounding area of Carpinteria, CA. I also helped organise meetings with expert witnesses and carried out individual research into mechanics liens for example, including having sole responsibility for calculating and presenting information for use in negotiations etc.
