I am a Legal Director in the Lewis Silkin's employment team in Leeds. I have over 15 years post qualification experience advising a wide range of employers from start-ups to multinational plcs on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues ranging from advising on large scale restructures, redundancies and TUPE matters to general absence, grievance and disciplinary issues.Over the years I have carved out a niche dealing with senior executive issues, in particular senior executive exits. I have been involved in negotiating settlement packages both for senior executives and companies where there have been sensitive commercial issues at play and where the packages include shares, loan notes, considerable benefits and bonus entitlements.I have extensive litigation experience, including advising on and conducting my own advocacy for clients at employment tribunal hearings (including in Scotland) in unfair and constructive dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing cases.
