Having started my career as a Trainee Solicitor based in Aberdein Considine’s residential property team I later moved on to be based in our lender services property team where I advised lenders and insolvency practitioners in relation to both residential and commercial property matters as well as providing advice in relation to complex conveyancing issues and how to resolve them. The experience I gained in my previous roles has been hugely beneficial in my current role in the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate team and allows me to provide comprehensive advice on all types of property matters. In particular my knowledge and experience has proved to be invaluable when dealing with bank security, portfolio and development transactions in particular. Partner in charge based at one of the Aberdein Considine’s largest branch offices. Responsible for oversight of team, initial client appointments, advising clients on all aspect of conveyancing transactions including residential sale and purchase transactions, re-mortgages, discharges, transfers of title, minutes of agreement, corrective conveyancing and advising clients in relation to and preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Associate Partner responsible for the day-to-day management of Firm's Repossession Conveyancing Team. Responsible for task delegation to ensure that all time critical tasks were completed as per client SLA's and internal targets, reviewing service levels, processes and costs to ensure best service and value. Participated in new client tender processes and negotiating terms of both new and old Service Level Agreement’s. Engaged with clients at all levels both remotely and in person including conducting weekly or monthly review meetings, providing Scottish property law training and providing support and assistance during yearly audits. Recruitment and new start training and induction process. Particular interest in pre-possession conveyancing issues including title examination, corrective conveyancing and liaising with third party solicitors regarding outstanding issues.
