In my current role I review and underwrite both BTL and Residentail mortgage applications upto £500k. I follow company policy and carefully consider potential risks to the business on all cases I underwrite. My decisions include a detailed yet clear assessment of the income calculation and a clear analysis on the overall case profile. I am also responsible for any documents received with the mortgage application which i also fully underwrite - these are also considered when making a responsible lending decision. When the application process is complete and ready for authorisation I issue an offer of loan to all parties ensuring all the relevant legal conditions are on the mortgage offer. I work in a very target driven environment where I always aim to achieve and exceed targets where possible but also very importantly keeping my quality to the best standard and keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do in true EBO style !

My previous role involved providing online support to customers from placing online orders to providing detailed product information and descriptions over the phone which encouraged several online purchases. Dealing with customer complaints was also an important element of my role and the customer journey; I was there to provide a solution and resolution to customer complaints. I was very efficient and took responsibility for any customer disatisfaction which actually was recognised by my Deparment Manager who offerd me a supervisor role within the team. (Unfortunately due to redundancies this oppertunity fell through) however it has given me great confidence and experience with dealing with customer dissatisfaction which I have took with me to my new current job. Many other skills included processing orders, fees and payments.
