For the past 10 years I have been the lead development engineer on the Sprint National Wireless Monitoring/Remote Access System, RF repeaters and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). The approach to the wireless monitoring system I designed has been imitated by several other major wireless communications carriers. I have been awarded 8 US patents and now.
I was manager over the Sprint national electronic computer gateways collection and distribution of all call-detail-records (CDRs) and universal date records (UDRs). This involved developing billing software amendments and future feature requests (FFRs) for a third party billing company.
I currently teach evening courses as an adjunct professor in graduate level programs (MBA, MPM, and MIS). I teach techniques on project management, cost and schedule management, economic modeling and selection, negotiation for a win/win, conflict management, risk analysis and management, and quality management. I enjoy teaching and learning from adult.
I was co-founder of the company. My partner and I developed and patented a device (SafeHouse 2100) that will allow all present security alarm systems that currently require a phone land line to function as a totally wireless communication system. I started with CellularOne as a Senior RF Engineer. CellularOne was purchased by Verizon in late 1999. I planned and did the RF engineering 100+ AMPS base stations. In 1998 I became the Project Manager for all the RF Engineering and Network projects, including all the Lucent CDMA systems that were deployed in the Kansas City area, Wichita, KS, Topeka, KS.
My team was responsible for the design and implentation of all air-to-ground VHF and UHF communications between FAA controllers and pilots for the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We also were responsible for Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT) voice communications, short range radar, and all ATCT weather instruments. I designed.
