Exceeded the area's goals for production and formation of long-term strategy, mitigating the risks of serving customers, due to crises in the management of waste/tailing ponds and a low exposed mine reserve, providing operational stability in the short and medium terms.• Institutional relations with associations and unions, the municipal government, and influencers during crisis processes driven by dam breach events in Mariana/Brumadinho - MG, raising the community's degree of confidence in Alcoa operations through transparent dialog and honesty, showing the Alcoa Values of "Acting with Integrity, Caring for People and Working with Excellence," and "Leading with Courage," reestablishing trust and peace of mind with community leaders, and improving Alcoa's acceptance by the municipal and state government communities.

• Report to the General Manager of the Juruti Mine. • Management of teams with 6 direct reports and 800 people in mining and processing operations.• Responsible for mining operations (mineral extraction, sterile removal, and plant suppression), crushing, classification plant, and the tailing pond complex. • Worked to ensure stability of mine operations by increasing the exposed ore reserve from 2 to 9 days, a significant change to the mine's deforestation process, reducing risk/exposure to fatalities by 86%. • Management of the Tailing Ponds process in the middle of the Brumadinho crisis, involving strong relations with local communities and the state and municipal governments, in addition to the Pará State Prosecution Office. • Development of the long-term (25-year) Tailings Master Plan for the Juruti Mine, aimed at changing technologies.

Report to the General Manager of the Juruti Mine. • Management of teams with 8 direct reports and 300 people in Project Management, Planning, Cost Controls, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Operations Readiness and Operations interface.•Implementation of three production growth projects from 2016 to 2018, denominated as Production CREEP (schedule-driven), with little intensive capital (US$ 53 million), which raised production by 2.8Mtpa. With this, a project was started to change to the Novo Platô mine, conducting the project until hand-over to another manager at the FEL2 phase.• Development of a study to optimize Juruti Mine operations, showing physical and financial feasibility with results including EBITDA up by US$ 508 million over the next 20 years of the operation, a positive NPV, IRR at 30.4%, and a potential to reduce operating costs by 37%, lowering costs from US$ 2.889 billion to US$ 1.832 billion per year.

Under this leadership, Alcoa Juruti reached global availability results of over 95% in the Mine, Processing, Railway, and Port processes. Leader of the Engineering and Maintenance and Projects team with over 300 employees, reaching a staff engagement level of more than 88%. Control of maintenance costs, with an annual budget of approximately US$ 3,000,000, including optimization of inventories of maintenance inputs and development of new suppliers and alternatives. Under this leadership, implementation of the Juruti Mine was finalized, implement production growth projects and going from 2.6Mtpa to 7.5Mtpa, with a portfolio in excess of US$300 million. Also managed the sustaining capital portfolio, in the amount of US$ 20 million per year for five years. Developed and implemented a methodology for storing bauxite tailings in mine pits, guaranteeing a sustainable and safe solution for the Juruti unit.

•Reporting to: Director of Implementation at the Juruti Mine•Responsible for coordination of the multidisciplinary engineering team and for interfacing with construction management on-site - US$1.8 billion project - and for development of the Mine Commissioning and Start Up and Operational Readiness plan. Under this leadership, FEL2 Conceptual Engineering, FEL3 Basic Engineering, and the Feasibility Study were developed, resulting in approval to implement the venture, Detailed Engineering and Project Implementation Plan - PEP, and formation of the multidisciplinary engineering team, interfacing with construction and assembly of the Juruti Mine, which began operations in 2009 and reach full production capacity in less than one year, without any incidents with equipment or people.

•Reporting to: Operations Director•Responsible for coordinating the production and maintenance team for the electric conductor factory. Under this leadership, production records were broken for aluminum cables for power lines, growing the national customer portfolio with customers such as Eletronorte, Eletronuclear, CELP and CPFL. Led implementation of the TPS - Toyota Production System (similar to ABS Alcoa), where the entire factory production philosophy was restructured, in addition to ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 certifications between 2001 and 2004. Coordinated teams of approximately 200 people in production and maintenance, civil construction and mechanical, electrical and civil installation of stationary and rotating equipment: pipes, boilers, cooling towers, water collection, treatment and supply systems, effluent treatment, electrical substations and low-voltage power, compressed air compressors, compressed air dryers, and pressure vessels.
