Provided advice and mentorship for incoming freshmen admitted to the PEERS program and effectively aided new students in the assimilation process of college-level courses.

Experience with basic lab techniques including agarose and acrylamide gel electrophoresis, Western Blot, cloning, bioinformatics, etc. Using PCR and DNA sequencing, investigated antibiotic-resistant mutants in E. coli genomic DNA. Reading and writing scientific papers.
