Factory Compatibility Testing (FCT) Project Manager/Lead Systems EngineerLead nine successful satellite Factory Compatibility Test (FCT) projects where a team of Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) engineers and operators would deploy with a mobile tracking station to a satellite build site. Responsibilities for each FCT involved both engineering and management aspects. The engineering piece included conducting a site survey, performing an operational checkout, developing a mission plan with the customer, deploying a mobile satellite communication system, running a successful test, and creating an after-action brief. Along with engineering each FCT required a large amount of project management. This included proposal development, subcontractor management, government and customer relations, daily status reports, and site management.Reliability Maintainability and Availability (RMA) Engineer Championed the redevelopment of an outdated Worst Actor process. This involved researching and analyzing the process being used by a previous contractor and improving it to make a more streamlined transparent process for deciding which equipment groups were behaving the worst amongst others throughout the AFSCN network. Developed an automated excel tool to create monthly metric reports by pulling data from a datafile which saved hours of time each month. Systems EngineerLead systems engineer on a special study that investigated the possibility of replacing an older archival recording system with a new system that can do both digital and analog radio frequency (RF) recording. Researched the feasibility, created an Engineering Change Proposal, and helped with the test plans and installation procedures. Analyzed all deficiency reports received from the customer to develop solutions and courses of action to ensure each deficiency made its way to the correct engineering specialty.

HARDWARE TRANSITION (Secret)Subcontractor on Air Force Satellite Control Network Contract. In preparation for the contract transition worked to establish a complete baseline of the hardware being used for SCNC. Responsible for creating audit books for the people baselining the sites, traveling to site to take part in the baselining, and recording results into the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tool for the Air Force and awardee to use at the beginning of the next contract.AIR FORCE SATELLITE CONTROL NETWORK TEST BED LAB MOVE (Secret)Moved the Integration and Test Service Facility (I&TSF) and the Electronic Schedule Disseminator 3.0 (ESD 3.0) to a single sight away from the HTSI Facility. Disassembled and assembled the equipment used for the RTC Block Change (RBC), Automated Remote Tracking Station (ARTS), and the ESD 3.0. Key member of the Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) team that worked directly with government auditors. Derived methods along the way to make the process more efficient. Entire endeavor was highly successful and greatly praised by both the government and Air Force.
