As the ICT Director at GCP, I have had a wealth of experience in managing teams and implementing technical solutions. My previous role as Chief Software Developer entailed overseeing a large team of IT professionals and support staff. I also held the position of Senior Software Developer for several companies including Chatami™️, Pmanager™️, JustShopZone, TheMiddle®️, GentzyEDU, eRM™️, MrGentz™️ , and eBills™️. During this time, I provided onsite and offsite support for computer security and systems administration, including virtual machine support, help desk, and software licensing support. I ensured implementation plans met technical, cost, and schedule requirements, mentored technical staff, and recommended individuals for leadership roles within the organization. I also championed the implementation of service management best practices and fostered an environment of consistent execution and continuous improvement.

Working as a Consultant, I managed the computer aided facilities in the Vice Chancellor’s office, as well as upgraded and maintained the ICT infrastructure in the Digital Library and Administration building.My role now entails preparing strategic and operational plans for MICTU to ensure availability and reliability of all necessary ICT tools, processes and systems; designing and deploying necessary web and mobile applications for registrations and computer-based tests processes; as well as advising on and overseeing the upgrade of the NOC.

As Director of ICT, I prepared strategic, operational, and financial plans for the ICT department to ensure availability and regulatory and legal compliance of all tools, processes, and systems within budgetary constraints. At OAL, I managed a team of over 30 administrative & technical staff, responsible for strengthening the IT infrastructure through implementing new technologies, alongside hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair.I performed routine audits of systems and software, managed the IT budgets and expenditure, and developed & maintained the company IT systems, software and databases - identifying and implementing improvements and efficiencies.I also designed and maintained corporate websites and portals, evaluated, tested, advised and supported I.T related projects. I was responsible for the procurement of IT hardware, software and maintenance products & services, as well as recruiting and training new staff.

At Libero Investments, I built and managed information systems, technical support, production and repair departments. I also led, directed and oversaw ICT function to ensure continuous and cost-effective operation of organisational systems, network, database architecture and data security.I was responsible for managing budgets and supervising staff in managing reliability of hardware, software, non-system tools, data archiving and offsite disaster recovery.
