Reaction: I strongly believe in pro-action instead of reaction & will take all steps necessary to avoid shortsighted and hasty decisions that lead to bad long term results. To that end, I am a planner and cannot stand, “winging it”. Solution Focused: I enjoy the opportunity to analyze and strategize in an effort to reach a conclusion and solution that can be instituted. I despise bureaucratic processes that thwart creativity, stall decisions and implementation, and ultimately de-motivate those who enthusiastically express ideas for effective forward progress. I am a pragmatic optimist by nature, but discerning and constructively critical. I often play the devil’s advocate. Before attempting to devise a solution to an obstacle, I tend to look at the “big picture” and then pin point specific and measurable actions in order to alter the micro issues that comprise the whole.
