Used simulation to develop engagement boundaries, then briefed results at 2 conferences and supported many others.• Developed 6-DOF reentry vehicle (RV) simulation for a ballistic missile target and used Monte Carlo analysis to further the survivability requirements and generate mass properties requirements for the integration team to design to.• Constructed a 6-DOF model of a “beam-rider” MANPADS for MSIC. Modeled fore-body and aft of missile projectile independently and developed multiple instances of the projectile simulation to run simultaneously.• Developed a 6-DOF simulation of a foreign submarine launch ballistic missile (SLBM). Incorporated intelligence and created appropriate guidance and control algorithms where intelligence lacked.• Developed a 6-DoF simulation of the Massive Swarm Weapon (MSW) concept. Generated autopilots for 3-DoF (pitch) and 6-DoF (yaw, pitch, roll) models such that the MSW was controllable and able to target to a given impact point. Show less
