I meet with founders of startups in the Twin Cities, hear their story and try to put that story into words. Nothing too complex.

We provide short-term, emergency loans to students at the University of Minnesota to help them stay in school. I manage the organization which includes a $100k+ fund, day-to-day operations and business development. I am also responsible for making the decision of loaning out the money. Since it is only two people at SELFund, I find myself doing a bit of.

Founded in 2005, we started (and continue) in Rochester, MN. We found that there was just nothing for high-schoolers to do on the weekends and that dances/mixers at school were becoming very unpopular.
