I meet with founders of startups in the Twin Cities, hear their story and try to put that story into words. Nothing too complex.

We provide short-term, emergency loans to students at the University of Minnesota to help them stay in school. I manage the organization which includes a $100k+ fund, day-to-day operations and business development. I am also responsible for making the decision of loaning out the money. Since it is only two people at SELFund, I find myself doing a bit of everything that's required to run a business.

I somehow managed to convince Mark Cuban to speak to the Entrepreneurship Club.

Worked with clients on roll out plans for software implementation. Generated leads. Researched market and competitors.

I did ERP/CRM system implementation, specifically NetSuite and Salesforce.com. I also have done Financial and IT Sox work. Lastly, I did a lot of technical writing for the software we implement.

Founded in 2005, we started (and continue) in Rochester, MN. We found that there was just nothing for high-schoolers to do on the weekends and that dances/mixers at school were becoming very unpopular. Our initial dance parties were a huge hit, and it took off from there. Our biggest event to date: a new years party in downtown Rochester. We are currently looking to put on some awesome events around the Twin Cities area in order to get into the market. Contact me!
