Led staff members in projects to examine their operations and identify and implement better ways of serving customers. Trained as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to deliver measurable, sustainable results. - Media Relations Director (Feb. 2011 - Aug. 2012): Advised the department on media matters, and helped manage a staff of public information officers and visual design specialists. Oversaw the launch of the department's social media program. DPS has more than 3,500 employees and a $700 million annual budget, and includes the Highway Patrol, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Homeland Security, Emergency Management Agency, Office of Criminal Justice Services, Ohio Investigative Unit and Emergency Medical Services.
