Having contributed heavily to the growth of the business through freelance work remotely, I was offered a full time senior role with Punktilio and relocated to the UK. I was responsible for all Development and Design output during Punktilio’s short life as a specialist social media agency before being acquired by Essence in 2011.■ Lead developer for a wide range of Facebook Applications and Games using PHP, AS3 and Javascript for clients such as Arsenal, BBC, Phones 4u, SYCO Entertainment and Unilever.■ Managed and recruited a small and highly effective team of in-house staff and freelance professionals. ■ Defined internal processes for technical project management, pitching and estimation.■ Collaborated with external agencies and teams to deliver social product supporting larger digital strategies.

I started my career in digital as a freelance Web designer, completely self-taught through the help of the open source software, online communities and articles/blogs by industry evangelists.■ Produced a catalogue of designs for Bebo, Youtube and MySpace profiles for entertainment industry clients, such as; Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Bebo, Samsung Mobile, Orange Rockcorps, Defected Records & Youth Music.■ Delivered a bespoke MySpace profile in 13 different languages, with multimedia banners for DJ Hero (IGN) campaign in 3 days.■ Developed embeddable MP3 player for Slicethepie using RTMP streaming protocol and XML data feeds to showcase featured content from artists on the platform.

Took a year out to travel South-East Asia and ended up living in Bali for 9 years. Ran a small retail and export business sourcing, manufacturing and selling hand-crafted goods. Life was a beach.

Westpoint was a small boutique studio in West London, owned and run at the time by management & artist duo, Yoshi Terashima and Gota Yashiki (Simply Red). CTS was a legendary recording studio complex based in Wembley, London. Industry legends, such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Sammy Davis Junior, all recorded at CTS. Film credits included Dick Lewzey’s recording of The Mission for Ennio Morricone and Oscar-winning pictures such as Four Weddings and a Funeral and Shakespeare in Love.I joined CTS as a Runner and progressed to Assistant engineer in the year I worked there before the studio was knocked down to make way for the new Wembley Stadium. I was lucky to be able to learn from some of the best Audio Engineers in the business, in arguably one of the best recording environments in the UK.
