I am a Registered 'Professional Architect', (ACZ) (SACAP) - A rounded designer, technician and project leader with experience from Zimbabwe and the UK. I am currently resident in Harare, Zimbabwe and together with colleagues Graham Cochrane, am a Shareholder, and Director in 'Architectural and Planning Studio' (APS). My ongoing personal challenge is to create exciting spaces, and enduring buildings that are appropriate and fit for purpose in the Southern African built environment. I relish each new opportunity to be involved with, and improve my clients lives through effective design and problem solving.Working with 'building information modelling' (BIM) software - (REVIT and Autodesk Construction Cloud - ACC ) we interrogate the building design from concept through to detailed working drawings, and try to iron out the potential mistakes are made on site. Comprehensive client communication, and thorough technical documentation is key to ensuring that conceptual ideas are seen through to reality on budget and on time.
