I am an Australian living in London. I began my working life on a sheep and cattle station in the Australian Outback before joining the Australian Army, where I spent most of my time in Special Forces. I have travelled the world extensively as a soldier, tour guide and photographer. Magazine assignments have taken me to the far-flung corners of the Earth.

Led expeditions across Africa and Asia of anything up to 26 weeks duration. Main perils to overcome were difficult and bureaucratic officials, malaria and other diseases, mechanical breakdowns in remote locations and dealing with the group dynamics of 20 people from all walks of life bundled together in the back of an ex-military 4X4 truck whilst.
