Geoff White Email and Phone Number
WHAT I DO: I help e-commerce and D2C outdoors brands maximise their AOV and monthly revenue through story driven email.Welcome sequences, abandoned cart emails, sale announcements, re-engagement emails and more… I help brands to maximise the revenue they generate from their email list.WHO I HELP: E-commerce and D2C outdoor apparel and equipment brands. Why? I live somewhere very remote, a tiny island 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall. Where the Atlantic Ocean, Irish Sea, and English Channel meet. The weather is changeable to say the least, and often rather dramatic. As a stay-at-home dad to two boys, we’re out and about in all weathers. Without a car we go everywhere on foot, often in the wind and rain. Sometimes combined with getting on and off boats to make the nursery run to a neighbouring island. So I understand how important quality outdoor gear is. It can be the difference between having a miserable kid screaming their head off because they’re damp and cold, or seeing them jumping in and out of puddles for hours on end as they have the best day ever!I ALSO HELP: e-commerce and D2C brands selling products to parents or families. As a stay-at-home dad, I’m passionate about connecting these consumers with the products that they need!I LOVE WORKING WITH: Companies who care about their place in the world. They care about the environment. They love their customers. And they put customer satisfaction above cutting corners. (Not that overheads and penny pinching will matter after I’ve unlocked all that hidden profit in your email list :))PEOPLE COME TO ME BECAUSE: I write copy that grabs readers from the first word, that keeps them opening your emails, and most importantly, that gets them to whip out their credit card to buy your products. With a background in CRM systems, where I sat between IT departments and end users, I get complex ideas across in straightforward and engaging ways. All of which comes in very handy as a copywriter, where the ability to communicate complicated concepts simply is key.YOU CAN REACH ME BY: DMing me here on LinkedIn or booking a call with me: https://calendly.com/geoffwritescopy/discovery-call Then we can have a chat and see how I can help you make the most out of your email list.

Freelance CopywriterGeoff Writes Copy Apr 2021 - PresentIsles Of Scilly, England, United KingdomAs a writer of copy and content, who is also a published author, I bring to the table an understanding of storytelling and how to craft compelling prose. I specialise in helping businesses find their voice, making sure their marketing is telling their story effectively. To ensure they’re reaching the right customers and being heard above the crowd.I’m currently focussing on writing blogs and SEO content articles, as well as website copy, but am more than happy to discuss projects outside of these things as well.I work with businesses, writing content for their websites and email newsletters, freeing them up to do what they do best. I’m looking to help more businesses find their voice and tell their stories with their ongoing marketing efforts. -

AuthorG.M. White Apr 2016 - PresentAs an independent author I have an understanding of storytelling and how to write prose that engages the reader.I’ve always enjoyed storytelling and had a love of the written word. I’ve engaged with storytelling in numerous ways, through music, as an actor, and a playwrite. It was in 2015 that I started to work on my first (unpublished) novel. I began writing my first published novel, The Swordsman’s Lament, in 2018 and brought it out in 2019. A prequel novella, The Swordsman’s Intent, followed in 2020. Then I published the sequel novel, The Swordsman’s Descent, in 2022.My current published works are fantasy adventures that grip the reader but nonetheless delve into important issues. I’ve always viewed fantasy and science fiction as a way of viewing the world through a different lens, their fantastical settings enabling both author and reader to grapple with philosophies and ideas in an environment at a remove from day to day life.Once I’ve written my novels I then work with cover designers and editors to produce books that sit alongside anything from one of the big publishing houses.I am also a one man marketing and promotions team for my books. I manage multiple social media accounts and my monthly newsletter, organise advertising and promotions, and am responsible for all that’s required to get my books in front of readers. What some reviewers are saying about my books:The Swordsman’s Lament“To say that I loved this book is an understatement.” - Fantasy Book Nerd Blog“The Swordsman’s Lament by G.M. White is genuinely brilliant.” - Reader review“One hell of a book!” - Andrew’s Wizardly ReadsThe Swordsman’s Descent“The best book I’ve read this year.” - Reader review“I give very few five star reviews, but this one deserves it.” - Amazon review“This low fantasy tale … delivers old-school adventure and sword-fighting with a refreshingly modern sensibility. A hugely enjoyable plot.” Runalongtheshelves.net

Assistant Manager (Box Office Systems)Royal Albert Hall Apr 2015 - Apr 2016London, United KingdomThis was a critical support role within a busy Box Office team of more than 80 people. I was the first port of call for the resolution of issues relating to the organisation’s ticketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Tessitura, working across departments and very closely with IT. This often entailed getting complex ideas across in an approachable way, explaining technical features and solutions to end users. I helped to ensure that systems (and associated hardware) were working well to deliver maximum business benefit. I was also responsible for ensuring staff were fully trained in use of the software and ran training sessions and workshops to this end. -
Box Office & Crm Systems Co-OrdinatorNational Theatre Jun 2013 - Apr 2015London, United KingdomThe CRM System is used by all departments in the NT; I provided support and training to users across the organisation targeted to their specific needs, and was proactive in my contribution to the roll-out of system upgrades and new functionality. I set-up performances, goods and services within the CRM System to given deadlines, managing my workload and multiple requests simultaneously on any given day by appropriate prioritising, contributing to sales in excess of £34 million in my time there.I assisted in the delivery of projects to provide new services and goods that joined up customer service across the National Theatre, as well as improving the existing set up. One of my projects involved completely revamping the way the accessible ticket scheme was set up on the National Theatre’s booking system, improving the customer experience as well as the accuracy of our reporting on the matter. This is an example of the sort of projects I undertook to further develop use of the CRM system to introduce more customisation. Through liaising with key stakeholders I identified user requirements for new reports and worked with our DBA to get these written to the specification needed.I attended the building wide Tessitura User Group, contributing to the understanding, training and proper use of the System; documenting and chasing action items. I drove improvement in usage and implementation of systems across the organisation as a member of the Tessitura Project Group.I offered advice to support Box Office staff in answering system-related queries from customers and trouble-shoot system issues to provide support to the Box Office in their day-to-day work, and other departments in relation to their use of the CRM system. I enjoy forging relationships internally and with other organisations in support of the development of good practices. I pursued this through attendance the EU Tessitura Conference in 2013 and 2014, making useful connections in the process. -
Ticketing Services Co-OrdinatorAmbassador Theatre Group Jul 2012 - Jun 2013London, United KingdomOne of a team of Ticketing Services Co-ordinators working for The Ambassador Theatre Group, the world's biggest theatre company. I was the key contact for Disney Theatrical Productions, working closely with them on setting up and rolling out the UK tour of The Lion King, breaking sales records in the process. In this role I had to be proficient in all areas of the ticketing system in order to provide support and advice to both internal users and producers/marketing agents. I provided training as required and devised, distributed and maintained system documentation in order to support business processes, policy and procedure. I was the point of contact for nominated venues and engendered a pro-active working relationship in order that business priorities were delivered and opportunities exploited. I frequently resolved ticketing and reporting queries, where necessary liaising with colleagues in other departments over issues to seek resolution. I ensured that on-sale information was collated and distributed to all relevant teams in order that on-sale deadlines were met and checked all new season set-up following established procedures to ensure data is correct and income/revenues were protected. I ensured relevant ATG personnel and relevant external contacts were provided with accurate sales information as required. I worked with the Ticketing Support Manager to monitor call logs and provide/solicit any necessary information to support teams to ensure satisfactory resolutions for ATG staff within agreed timeframes.
