About George Mcconnachie
I'm a Contract Manager with Tempo Time Credits. We are a registered charity that encourages and engages with people from all backgrounds to get involved and volunteer within their local communities. We provide a volunteer reward scheme in which volunteers can earn Tempo Time Credits which can then be exchanged for a service or activity. These are provided by our network of Recognition Partners who are essentially businesses that we work with through corporate charity partnerships. How does it work in practice? Well, if you were to spend an hour volunteering at your local community centre, food bank or youth group (for example) then you'd earn one time credit. You could then use your time credits to visit the theatre, take the kids to soft play, or go for a session in your local gym, for example. Please visit www.wearetempo.org to learn more about us or go to www.tempotimecredits.org/use to find out where you can use your Tempo Time Credits.
