Senior Vice President of Application Development and Support; reporting to the CIO, led a team of 240 internal and 120 offshore resources - developed applications to support Finance, HR, Billing, Commissions, Business Intelligence, Network Inventory, Trouble Ticketing, Field Tech Management, and Software Quality Assurance, with an annual operating budget of $18 million and capital budget of $13 million. ~ Redesigned customer broadband qualification process, increasing accuracy by 90%, reducing pre-installation churn and technician install time, enabling the sale of faster speeds, and increasing the customer net promoter score. ~ Completed installation, split, and implementation of all back-office systems in seven months after the announced split from Alltel, enabling Windstream to function independently on day one.~ Led selection and implementation of an offshore partner for IT operations, capturing savings of $40 million, or 40%, over seven years. ~ Served as IT lead on M&A activity – including 20+ acquisitions of more than $6 billion in value – leading diligence, financial forecasting, Legal Day One execution, and customer migration. ~ Led digital transformation of broadband business, migrating all customer interactions to a single view internally and externally, capturing software and organizational cost savings. ~ Led conversion to new HR/Payroll software for 12,000+ employees, creating a single source for HR interactions in a modern web/mobile UI experience and automated employee onboarding. ~ Evaluated and executed private cloud strategies for COTS applications, enhancing support capabilities and generating more than $1 million in annual cost savings. ~ Adopted agile methods across development teams, providing greater participation and visibility to business stakeholders and faster deployment cycles.~ Migrated primary internal data center to new facility in 8 months, moving 4,000+ servers, 2,000+ apps with 0 downtime for 75+% of apps.

Director Corporate Systems; developed applications in support of finance, procurement, and business intelligence, managing a staff of 40. ~ Deployed integrated inventory application with scanning capability across 1,700 retail store footprint, automating stocking and order points, reducing on-hand inventory levels by $150 million or 50%, and reduced obsolescence write-offs by $10 million annually, or 80%.~ Led RFP and selection process for asset tracking software, allowing for accurate tracking of network and cell site assets and reducing downtime and failures from aging equipment and lack of spares.~ Implemented custom commission software for all sales channels, enabling nightly calculation and sharing commission attainment reports.

Manager Accounting; prepared monthly internal financial statements, including consolidation accounting for more than 40 limited investment entities. Executed conversion of European foreign currencies with the introduction of the Euro. ~ Key team member leading on-time and under-budget enterprise-level ERP conversion, consolidating four business segments into a single application for financials, procurement, and distribution.

P&L responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, guest relations, sales, property maintenance, housekeeping, and capital investments.  Improved occupancy rate to 80% while capturing higher average room rates though active local marketing to small businesses and promoting a park and fly program for residents that built weekend business.
