George is an Acoustic Consultant in the Auckland office, working in all aspects of acoustics. His interest in the field began as a child through playing and listening to music. George has played guitar for 20 years and has played in bands since he was young. He has performed and recorded in various musical projects and has experience with music production.George graduated from the University of Auckland in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics and Applied Mathematics. After graduating, he joined Marshall Day Acoustics in 2020 as a summer intern, working on a research and development project for the company’s in-house software. This project utilized his mathematical skills and physics knowledge to understand the acoustics of high-density sound absorbers. Once completed, he joined the Auckland office as an Acoustic Consultant and has been gaining experience in a wide range of acoustics areas, including building, environmental and room acoustics.
