As Deputy General Manager at The Chase Golf and Country Club, I work closely with our General Manager, Matt Southwell, to enhance the experience of every guest and member. Together, we ensure that high standards of service and hospitality are consistently upheld across all departments.I oversee daily operations, managing everything from the restaurant and bar to the health club, boutique hotel, and golf operations. I work with department heads to maintain service quality, resolve issues, and implement improvements that enhance guest satisfaction.I also play a key role in strategic planning, collaborating with Matt to drive marketing initiatives, develop new offerings, and promote membership. Our aim is to foster an inviting, vibrant community for members and visitors, whether they come for golf, weddings, or leisure activities.Staff development is a central part of my role. I mentor and support our team, ensuring they have the training and resources needed to succeed. This includes team-building activities, coaching, and fostering a positive working environment.I also manage event coordination, working with our events team to ensure weddings, corporate functions, and other gatherings are executed seamlessly, leaving a lasting impression on clients and running smoothly for staff.Health and safety compliance is another critical responsibility. I work with external partners to ensure our club meets all regulations and maintains a safe environment for guests and employees.Driven by a passion for service excellence, I am committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere at The Chase, ensuring it remains one of Staffordshire's premier destinations.
