During this internship I spent six weeks in Westminster supporting the parliamentary staff of Luciana Berger, MP for Liverpool Wavertree. Key responsibilities included managing incoming correspondence in the way of the parliamentary email account, letters and telephone; updating the diary with details of the whip, and researching areas of interest to the member and her constituency, including her former brief as Shadow Minister for Mental Health and the Liverpool City Region.

My role at Jackson Canter was to identify, develop and create business for an ethical law firm. This involved contacting potential clients, developing relationships, arranging meetings, writing tender applications to local authorities, managing a client database and researching the market and prospective clients who may require legal services. I also assisted in online and offline marketing, including social media and networking events, as well as strategic reviews.
