With three years of experience in income and costing, I am passionate about supporting the NHS finance team with accurate and timely reporting and analysis. As an income and costing assistant at Dorset Healthcare, I collaborate with senior accountants to produce and maintain patient-level and service-line costing information, monitor and reconcile contractual income, and assist with the National Cost Collection and quarterly service-line reporting.In this role, I utilise my advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create spreadsheets using charts, formulas, and pivot tables to present reports and conduct analyses for senior management.While working at Dorset Healthcare, I have so far completed my AAT qualifications up to Level 3, where I achieved an overall distinction at all levels and gained valuable knowledge and skills in Accounting and Finance. To further enhance my competencies and career prospects, I plan to undertake my Level 4 studies later this year to become fully qualified in AAT, with the goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant in the future.I am highly motivated by the mission and values of the NHS, and I enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team that strives to deliver high-quality, effective, and efficient healthcare to the public.
