I was responsible for the Executive Protection, office security, residential security and travel of the top 12 Executive Directors, the top 140 Executives, Africa MD’s, Expatriates and High Risk Personnel in South Africa and on the African continent, (Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe). I tracked employees while traveling abroad, advise travelers on country security, personal security, protocols, airlines, hotels, roads, transport and assist employees with medical, crime or terrorist related incidents.Responsible for the write and implementation of Protection and Operational plans for the wider Africa as well as the writing and implementation Process documents, Process diagrams, Standards and Standard operating procedures. Conduct Security Risk Assessments of Residences, Hotels, Offices and Corporate buildings in low, medium and high risk areas in SA and in the rest of Africa.Manage CPOs, VPOs, Security Drivers day to day operations and training.Oversee and manage the installation of intruder alarm systems and CCTV cameras.Conduct Security awareness, Hijack prevention and awareness training to Executives, Expats and Staff.Liaise with local and abroad police services, Military, Private Security companies, emergency services, hospitals, 3rd Party service providers and armed response units. Training of all Country Security Managers and assistants.Assist business units and Country Security Managers with the write, implementation and test of business continuity plans.

Kabul

Responsible for the Close Protection of the European Police (EUPOL) working and staying in Afghanistan (Kabul). Plan and Implement physical security protection plans Mobile and Static. Identify trends in all security incidents and implement counter measures in line with protection strategy. Risk assessments of Hotels and Residence and provide clients with expert advice. Quick Response Force for Close Protection Teams on missions.Responsible for the tracking and extracting of Close Protection and Personal Security Detail Teams during an incident or accident. Aviation escort security for clients visiting work sites north and south in Afghanistan.Ensure training that training and re-training, both on the job and onsite and other agencies is carried out and recorded on a regular basis in order to maintain a high standard of operational preparedness.Monitor and evaluate procedures on a regular basis and implement changes and improvements where necessary. Ensure regular training re-training of Close Protection, Quick Response Force and Mobile Security Teams. Risk assessments of Clients Residents, Offices and Hotels and give expert advice and recommendations.Intelligence,collecting and reporting of all relevant information as and when it becomes or made available by local Security, Police or Military.

Iraq

Personal Security Operative in a PSD Team, contract with a US Construction Company for the building of Police Stations, Military barracks and Training camps for Iraqi Security Forces Iraq Wide. Responsible for the safe movement on road of US engineers from military bases to the construction sites in Baghdad, Tikrit, Anaconda, Ramadi west and east, KMTB, Fallujah, Taji etc.) Plan and execute missions. Driver of Limo, Scout, Front and Rear Security Vehicles and Shooter as well as Gunner.Duties included Personal Protection Officer and Body Protection, Personal Security Movement.
