To describe what I do in just a sentence would be very difficult. Working within a small team in a head office kind of role dictates what it is that I need to apply myself to, on a daily basis. Without the dedicated departments that you see in large companies, I am often tasked with wearing multiple hats. One day it's finances, another Human Resources, on the odd occasion the companies IT expert. From devising rotas with an abundance of requests, to dealing with employment law issues, there isn't really anything I haven't given a go. The work I do is critical in terms of the growth of the business and ensuring that best practice is achieved across the board.I take pride in what I do having quite high standards, and aim to be somebody that people can come to if they need some assistance with anything. If I don't know the answer to something, that then becomes something that I strive to find out. Being very detail oriented helps me detect exactly where issues develop and I then adapt processes to ensure smoother running.Outside of work I am a football referee to which I am a Level 4 (top 5% in the country) operating at a semi professional level. This has aided my leadership skills working as both an assistant and then also being that man in the middle looking after my assistants. As well as this my main passion is Formula One and I really admire the cultures that are built within these top teams (except Red Bull of course) that encourage every member to give their all for one another to try and produce that perfect race weekend. It's one thing having the fastest car but without a great team from the bottom to the top, like most businesses you will get nowhere.
