I am a curious, friendly, earnest Cyber Security and Cloud Engineering Professional. Specialising in the Microsoft M365 Security stack, I am a Customer Engineer at Microsoft. Working in Managed Service Providers I have refined this through the broad range of activities a consultant faces, initially at a Small MSP with on-premises Windows based Infrastructure to Empired with enterprise cutting edge Hybrid and Cloud only deployments. After completing my Degree in Computer Science, with a Double Major in InterNetworking and Mobile Computing I was employed as a Graduate at Telstra where I worked in the Area Planning team. This has given me a solid and often used foundation in understanding connectivity issues, limitations and solutions to common enterprise connectivity to the cloud.Working in both public TAFE and private colleges in both Lecturing and Academic Management I am proud to meet my previous students seeing them succeed, valuing the high quality training I provided. I consistently exceeded industry benchmarks for student success and received favourable feedback from all stakeholders.I volunteered with the Australian Computer Society for 8 years at all levels of the society from Subcommittee to National Board. I contributed to ensure the growth and sustainability of our profession within Australia and the world. During my time on the board, I championed Diversity and Inclusion, being an ally's voice in the room and achieving positive change including diversity statement for all state events, and code of conduct and safe space policy at ACS events.A natural teacher I give back through speaking engagements at TAFE and Universities. I present and host workshops at conferences such as BSides Perth, ComfyConAU and the ACS WA State Conference.https://www.credly.com/users/george-coldham/badges
