My professional experience spans over 38 years of work and support on the IBMi.I have worked in the IBMi environment in systems support as an administrator of security and databases, a business analyst, an I.T. business owner and in many roles as a senior applications engineer.My current position as an I. T. Manager of Client Integration Services gives me the opportunity to work with KeHE business development leadership to review new business requirements and introduce projects to our Client Integration Services team of four principal engineers and two senior engineers for new customer and supplier onboarding via EDI or other eCommerce processes. I oversee project management, timeline reporting to leadership, meeting with project stakeholders, software peer reviews, software quality control, problem solving, applications presentations to the KeHE IT community, proof of concept on new ideas, business process improvements to save time or reduce repetitive actions, software change control and maintaining department service-level agreements when managing department help desk tickets from the business. Additional responsibilities are managing the day to day issues, and working to resolve them permanently or prevent them where possible. I focus on cross training, application development standards, weekly team meetings, acting as on-call backup support and overseeing the hiring of new team engineers. I am committed to supporting individual engineer leadership growth by promoting the development of business, personal and technical skills of all team members, keeping us aligned with KeHE's employee growth philosophy.
