It has been a great experience as adm gave me responsibility early on and soon I found myself having a growing list of clients where I was their point of contact from start to finish on a project. One of my main focuses have been print and point-of-sale, learning the different production techniques used within retail marketing. Being assigned to ad hoc projects has given me exposure to how Diageo executes marketing techniques in various channels including the on-trade and off-trade. The fast-paced environment and autonomy to have my own clients is exactly the challenge I was looking for. My role includes elements of finance, project management, negotiation, and business development as I strengthen my client relationships with Diageo. The global nature of adm has made me more aware of how international businesses operate and the teams are always there should you have a question or would like to learn more. Being part of this scheme has taught me so much in a short space of time. No day is ever the same whether it be negotiating with suppliers or trading in different currencies to meet your client’s objectives. Despite all the uncertainty with Covid-19 I have always had support and been lucky enough to progress through the scheme, now as a year 2 Senior Account Executive. Whilst this has limited options for a year working abroad I am continuing my duties with Diageo GB and look forward to my journey with the company. Show less
