My vision was to establish a social enterprise in Kerala creating a model community through optimum, sustainable and shareable use of local resources. In addition, I wanted to create an on-premise experience that could offer visitors an opportunity to truly connect with nature - farms and farm animals and become aware of the benefits to mind and body from connecting with the environment.  Hau māra, as a concept, was defined by George and @SmitaScaria when they first considered bringing New Zealand’s eco-friendliness, sustainability and purity to Kerala. The tag phrase ‘Gods Own Country’ is common to both Kerala and New Zealand where George and family were based for nearly 2 decades. The name Hau māra - In Māori, the language spoken by the indigenous people of New Zealand, means Garden of Vitality. Today Hau māra is being run by the local CDS unit of Kudumbashree (https://www.kudumbashree.org/).Kudumbashree is the poverty eradication and women empowerment programme implemented by the State Poverty Eradication Mission (SPEM) of the Government of Kerala. The name Kudumbashree in Malayalam language means ‘prosperity of the family’.Kudumbashree is a community network covering the entire State of Kerala (please insert population and area from Google). It consists of a three-tier structure with Neighbourhood Groups (NHGs) as primary level units, Area Development Societies (ADS) at the ward level, and Community Development Societies (CDS) at the local government level. It is arguably one of the largest women’s networks in the world.

As the Program Lead Architect of HFC Workforce Management Program, I played a key role in the design and implementation of the HFC E2E Workforce Management stack for nbnCo.

I have led the B/OSS implementation and operations partner selection RFP process for Enable Networks and successfully completed the assignment which has resulted in a contract with a major system integrator.I am currently leading the end to end solution development for the implementation project. The project involves all aspects of a complex multi vendor/product integrated SOA based solution stack that spans Channel, CRM, Fulfilment, ERP/Billing, Assurance and Inventory platforms.I have represented Enable Networks in the New Zealand Telecommunications Forum – B/OSS working group to develop a common Business Interaction Framework for RSP’s and Local Fibre Companies to conduct business with each other.

I played a pioneering role in this space in New Zealand. I was instrumental in the introduction of digital cinema content (#Diamond Necklace) and the first theatrical distribution of Malayalam digital cinema content (#Ayalum Njanum Thammil) in New Zealand and Australia using digital cinema packaging (DCP) and digital cinema security techniques (DCP)

Played a key role in the Design and implementation of Telecom New Zealand OSS and Managed Services scope of work.

Responsible for the Services Pre-sales support in New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

Played a key role in the Alcatel-Lucent campaign in the New Zealand UFB initiative which led to establishing key business wins in Telecom New Zealand, Spark and Chorus.

Responsible for the solution design and delivery of OSS stack in Telecom New Zealand.

Responsible for operations of the global development centre of IDSi Technologies. The included managing a team of 45 resources across product development and support functions.During my tenure, achieved the CMMi Level 3 certification for IDSi, and also being the first company in Infopark Kochi to achieve this major milestone.

Responsible in setting up the global development centre of Fox Digital Web, a premium web application development company.

Contributed in the design and implementation of OSS capabilities to manage ADSL, VDSL, GPON and Ethernet Aggregation routers in Telecom New Zealand network.

Established and executed the Number Portability Test strategy for Telecom new Zealand.

Contributed to the First implementation of AxiOSS Fulfilment stack in Telecom New Zealand.Contributed to the implementation of Assurance stack in Telecom New Zealand.
