I work with Realtors, Attorneys, Accountants, Financial Planners, Social Workers, Home Health Care Providers, Hospices, Mortgage Brokers, Funeral Homes, Senior Groups, and with Senior Service Providers. Let me share a new story with you: A Realtor has a young couple who wants to buy a new house. The couple have about $10,000 for the down payment, okay credit, and new to the job market. When they apply for their 95% mortgage, the loan officer tells them they are "marginal for approval". Realtors don't want to hear this! The one thing all young couples have, are two sets of parents. Now, if the parents got a Reverse Mortgage for $100,000 (or less), the young couple could put about $100,000 down payment, their monthly mortgage would be greatly reduced, and the parents would not have any mortgage payments due! The Realtor can sell them a house with no problems! A win win situation for all. The Reverse Mortgage does work for many Seniors, if you just open your mind to the possibilities.
