Trillium Health Partners Foundation is dedicated to raising the critical funds needed to address the highest priority needs of Trillium Health Partners (THP), a leading hospital in the West GTA. Comprised of Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre, THP is one of the largest community-based, academically affiliated acute care facilities in Canada serving one of the fastest growing populations in the country. THP’s mission is to create a new kind of health care for a healthier community, building an inter-connected system of care organized around the patient, both inside the hospital and beyond its walls. To ensure THP can achieve its mission, the Foundation relies on community support. Each year, our hospital sees over 1.75 million patient visits and in the next 20 years this number is set to grow by 45%. To reach a Kids Help Phone professional counsellor, kids, teens and young adults, from any community in Canada, can call or go online 24 hours a day, 365 day a year. Professional counsellors provide anonymous, confidential and non-judgemental support. Kids Help Phone's Mission is to improve the well-being of children and youth in Canada by providing them anonymous and confidential professional counselling, referrals and information in English and French, through technologically-based communications media.Kids Help Phone's Vision is to continue to improve and grow Kids Help Phone to ensure we deliver the most effective, timely and valuable counselling, referrals and information to every young person in Canada from five to 20 who could benefit from our support. Even though everyone needs help sometimes, stigma around mental and emotional health struggle remains strong. The threat of being judged or labeled can leave both adults and kids reluctant to seek help.
