I am a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds in the Choice Modelling Centre (CMC), where my work is primarily focused on developing new behavioural models that combine insights from econometrics, machine learning, and psychology to advance our understanding of human decision-making. Prior to this role, I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in the Machine Learning for Smart Mobility (MLSM) group. There, I worked on advanced econometric demand models with generative machine learning, public transport route choice modelling using smart card data, and rail traffic management and simulation. I completed my Ph.D. at the American University of Beirut (AUB), focusing on integration of machine learning with discrete choice models to better predict and understand decision-makers' choices.My research interests include: - Behavioural Modelling - Demand Forecasting - Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition - Discrete Choice Analysis - Survey Design and Analysis - Simulation

Several scenarios with different evacuation strategies and plans were created and sensitivity analysis was applied in order to obtain distributions of the expected values of the evacuation times.The evacuation process was developed using the microscopic traffic simulation Aimsun. Matlab and Python languages have been also used in order to interact programmatically with Aimsun since the sensitivity analysis task involved running thousands of simulations, something that cannot be performed manually. -
