• Application architect for Windows-based CDR (Crash Reconstruction) software application, which downloads and presents pre-crash and crash data from the vehicle’s air bag module for evidential use in courts of law..
• Responsible for product line architecture and implementation of embedded telematics (C/custom OS) and connected vehicle products. These products targeted fleet management and maintenance applications provided to.
• Contributor of vehicle protocols (CAN, GMLan, PDU-API) for telematics products and Group Leader for TCU (Telematics Control Unit) software.
• Principal software engineer/architect for next generation automotive diagnostics applications, creating architectures, and developing vehicle communication protocols, application frameworks. Designed ARM-based embedded.
• Worked with marketing, management and emerging vehicle standards committees (ISO) to define architectures that could be closely mapped to business cycles affecting automotive OEM and independent, aftermarket sectors.

• Developed venture to exploit active networking technology. Created and launched software tools to exploit formal description techniques in the design, implementation and performance characterization of network.
• Consulted as architect/designer on various telematics embedded applications (to Vetronix Corp. through Coldspring Engineering, Santa Barbara). Introduced (and created ports of) O-O stateful framework so that reactive.

• Developed public IP access platform resulting in the purchase of ACC by Ericsson ($300M in 12/1996).
• Managed engineering programs for wireline/wireless access platforms.
• Contributed various software components (compilers-tools, embedded protocols (in C/embedded linux/vxWorks/home-grown embedded OS), board support packages, device drivers, algorithms).
• After M&A managed Ericsson’s university relations effort at U.C. Santa Barbara, and international project coordination as CTO and head of product architecture group for the Santa Barbara division (550 employees).

• Led development and engineering of N.E.T.’s IDNX packet switching products (Frame Relay, ISDN and Cisco-software-based WAN routing).
• Oversaw transition to ISO 9000 compliance/certification.
• Won two product awards and was promoted three times in three years, far exceeding performance evaluation metrics.
• Principal engineer and contributor of wide-area network protocols and control software (C/VxWorks/home-grown OS).

• Founded company to break new ground in ATM technology productization.
• Was responsible for architecture and development of all software for flagship SMDS network interface and router products.
