I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science focused in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. What brought me to civil engineering was the combination of my love for architecture and math. My most recent work experience was as a project coordinator on the Oakridge Redevelopment Project. I regularly communicated with architects and engineers to identify and resolve questions, employing programs such as Bluebeam to visualize ideas. Using Excel, I implemented a system to track concrete quantities and invoices, minimizing errors and oversights. I also assisted with project administration work such as reviewing drawings and reports. This experience has given me the opportunity to improve my communication skills as well as think critically and resolve issues within a team.Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and baking (I love trying out new recipes) and spending time with family and friends.I’m passionate about innovation and problem-solving.
