• Execute video editing for news channel station, programming, and managing routers/switchers, assigning designations to route multiple sources (live trucks, TVUs, the web and social media platforms, global satellite signals, and network live source) for purpose of recording or airing live.• Coordinate and manage a 6-member team during daily assignments as needed; support team members throughout projects with strict deadlines. Proactively communicate with producers to ensure aligned efforts and streamline production workflow.• Onboard and coach new team members to ensure individual success and enhance the flexibility of the department through more knowledgeable staff.• Train staff members regarding programming, source selection, and recording on Internet-based media encoder platform, allowing recording of 30-40 sources on multiple record windows.• Oversee company wide TVU Mobile IP Video Transmission software to route live or video transmissions to and from 47 TV stations and CBS.• Manage NSI MC GPS Tracking system that allows tuning of microwave and helicopter signals with use of one of 3 relay towers, designated by the NSI operator, which boost a signal from the source allowing the station to use a dish, searching 360-degree pattern, to triangulate original sources position.• Utilize Bitcentral software to send the video along with information, including news scripts, video format (voice-over, sound bite, or reporter package) and video restrictions.• Utilize NEWSPATH to download video from CBS for use on-air. Also, allow contribution of station materials and stories to the network for use by CBS and global affiliates.• Program and manage routers, assigning designations to route multiple sources for live designation, the web & social media platforms streams, global satellite signals, and program recordings.• Experience using oscilloscope and waveform monitor to adjust color, hue, white and black spectrum's that achieves optimal broadcast levels.

• Managed video editing for evening newscast; coordinated video feeds and maintained video library. • Executed production editing for 30 and 60 minute news specials, providing technical support and hands-on guidance to assist reporters, photographers, and visiting crews utilizing editing equipment.
