Transitioned from Behringer to TIER REIT on July 1, 2015 after the company changed the name and listed on NYSE. Responsible for overseeing the property and construction management for the TIER REIT portfolio. Properties are located in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Charlotte, Louisville, Atlanta, Nashville.

Moved to Dallas from Chicago to start up this commercial property management organization, and built the team, field organization and infrastructure from the ground up. Portfolio consisted of 20 million square feet plus of commercial office properties across the US.

Gerald was responsible for all property management offices and delivery of services for the middle third of the country. The portfolio was in excess of 50 million square feet and represented over 100 clients and owners. He was the leader of new business efforts, often leading the company in winning new assignments. The properties included third party management of multi tenant office and industrial buildings, as well as facility management assignments. Gerald also supervised the company's Asset Management Division. This team integrated with the field organization to deliver strategic and tactical recommendations for owners. The team assisted in selection of leasing agents, marketing strategies, capital spend review, lease negotiation and other services.
