I am a former Law Enforcement Officer with six years of experience. During my short tenure, I was exposed to a variety of experiences and disciplines that have shaped my character and provided me with a solid framework for continued success in this field.Within my capacity as a Patrol Officer, I established a reputation for being extremely detailed in my report writing and court case preparation and presentation; paying particular attention to detail and only sticking with the facts and information relevant to the case at hand. I was also tasked with being a forensic technician (secondary to our main forensics unit) where I responsible for collection and documentation of critical evidence.In addition to my experience in Law Enforcement, I am also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Although my main designation was an aircraft mechanic, I voluntarily deployed to Kuwait, where I served as a Force Protection Escort. In this role, I was essentially a Security Forces Augmentee where I was tasked with securing critical infrastructure, operating checkpoints, and deterring espionage among other duties. As my resume will demonstrate, I also had the honor of paying reverence to fallen service personnel as a dignified transfer pallbearer and was personally selected to attend a U.S. Embassy banquet based on my performance in this role.Prior to serving in both of these careers, I attended Buffalo State College, where I earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice. This education not only provided me with a good foundation for my subsequent careers, it also provided me with a clear understanding of the complexities of the justice system as a whole and the need for career-minded professionals to help solve such complexities with the proper skillsets, experience, and macro level vision of its' goal; justice.In conclusion, I am confident that my prior educational and work experience can be used as an asset to any establishment seeking a candidate in a law enforcement/criminal justice capacity.
