Dr. Angoff’s career has encompassed roles in clinical care, medical management and medical information technology. Initially he practiced acute care adult cardiology, concentrating on non-invasive cardiology and electrophysiology to include implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. Most recently he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and a consultant in medical information technology. At Dartmouth-Hitchcock, he specialized in pediatric and adult congenital heart disease and was co-director of the Adult Congenital Heart Program. His medical IT role included training, implementation and optimization of electronic medical records focusing on efficiency, outcomes and quality improvement. He was as well an Associate Medical Director overseeing the quality outcomes improvement program. He has served as a consultant for the implementation of Epic at community health centers in Greater Boston. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, a Certified Physician Executive, a Six Sigma Green Belt and has an MBA with a concentration in Medical Management from the University of Massachusetts. He volunteers for the Maven Project serving as a consultant in adult and pediatric cardiology for providers in underserved areas. He has volunteered as well in the West Indies country of Grenada seeing children and adults with congenital and rheumatic heart disease.
