As a consultant, I educated and trained financial advisers and planners in the proper presentation and integration of Fixed and Fixed Indexed Annuities in client retirement portfolios, bank channel systems and wirehouse platforms. It was my duty to employ consultative wholesaling of high-quality annuities, as well as present product design, income rider structure, and provide sales support to agents, financial advisers, planners, bank channels, broker dealers, regional directors and the Vice President of Sales. I often worked to produce white paper content for both senior management as well as the adviser-client relationship on the shift of Variable Annuity options to Fixed Index Annuities and how that trend has affected the retirement planning process in the investment space.Furthermore, I guided financial professionals on business-building practices to increase efficiency and increase lead generation from marketing efforts that included, direct mail, seminars, social media, and referrals. Throughout my role, I managed a product portfolio of hundreds of FIAs, FAs, MYGAs, among more than 20 insurance carriers. Lastly, I managed sales force communications related to new product initiatives, including the development of digital communications, agency product change submissions and worked with the field wholesaling team to ensure that all channels are ready to launch sales initiatives and product changes on time.
