Led off-site fortnightly trips consisting of 6-8 children and 2 responsible adults under the Adventure Programme at Frost Valley YMCA. Working with a co-leader, this role required logistical planning of outdoor trips away from camp (e.g. food, route planning), outdoor education, people and behavioural management, and handling any emergencies.Over the span of 8 weeks, I led the following 2-week trips:- Sea Kayaking and Climbing in Maine (Bar Harbour and Acadia National Park)- 90-mile Canoeing Trip in the Adirondack Park, New York.- White Water Rafting and Caving in the New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia.- Hiking and Climbing in the White Mountains, New Hampshire.
