In the first phase we were implementing a few Oracle EBS 12.1.3 modules. Gerald picked up Claims Management, a module in which none of us (including him) had any experience or knowledge and also a module which is very complex to pick up and implement. Gerald not only self-trained and implemented Claims Management but also mesmerized the client by identifying their key pain points and delivering highly efficient and precise solution to them. He went above and beyond during the cut over phase by working 20 hours a day for close to 2 weeks. Together we implemented Advanced Collection module in a couple of days. Moving on, we were asked to implement Oracle EBS 12.1.3 for the client's new Business model where Gerald was instrumental in providing solution to go-live critical problems. The key challenge was that since the client was a 3PL logistics service provider they needed a lot of flexibility in the order taking process which seemed impossible in cloud. Gerald stepped in and recommended to use PaaS for all the complex extensions. As mentioned earlier, client used to take him by words and agreed to go ahead with Cloud implementation (SaaS & PaaS). Gerald picked up PaaS and implemented something that we had initially assumed to be impossible. The UI's he built were just like cloud pages.
