Real Estate is a facilitator, not a goal in itself. It should facilitate needs, aspirations and contributions people have and make in a society. It combines form, function and connectivity in a social, economic and environmental sustainable way. The importance is in the holistic approach where all these elements contribute without making concessions. Far from an easy task and definitely complex.In starting such a vision or plan the first steps are of a social kind. Getting to know the community, the people and what their needs, aspirations and contributions are. Working from that point towards a concept and functionalities, and only then start to make concrete plans that visualise how this could be constructed. Too often projects are started from the wrong end and jump into design immediately.I have a passion to work from that vision and end with a concrete plan as a result. Doing that with all stakeholders in a diverse and all-inclusive team will produce the best outcome. Having worked in that way, I'm happy to explain how and share earlier experiences in that field, both on the project side as well as organisational demands and changes.
