I provided Tier II support for transport equipment in the Verizon Network including various older technologies as well as newer, state of the art systems, utilized to transport various data and voice bandwidth through the Verizon Footprint. I also was required to producing technical documentation every quarter, as well as writing and delivering training to techs on pertinent subjects.Some of the equipment that I supported was Various SONET/DWDM/CWDM/DCS vendors, Lucent, Fujitsu, Tellabs. Alcatel. CIENA etc.

I was hired from the street to learn how to provision and oversee the installation telephony carriers at several bandwidths. I moved from there to a surveillance position monitoring the companies alarm telemetry system for incoming alarms. When these arrived, I was responsible for trouble isolation and dispatch of field technicians to work with me to correct the issues.
