As a Director of THUSA Business Support, my focus is, quite simply, on providing sound technical solutions and long-term Information Technology strategies to customers. This is not only my core function at THUSA, it is my passion, my motivation and the driving force behind my every action. As a Director of THUSA I am required to be many things to the organisation. Technical consultant, mentor, trainer, pre-sales support, network architect, new product developer and strategy consultant, but time and experience has shown that my core value remains the same;• I have a consistent belief in continuous learning for not only myself but my teams.• I belief in the integrity and longevity of solutions I build for customers, ensuring that while they may not be the highest profit producing solution for our company, they are the best solution for our clients budgets and needs. • Good planning, with sound expertise to back it up, remains the core of any successful technology business. • The ability to communicate with people is at the core of any business regardless of field. • Change is consistent and the ability to adapt is vital in my industry. • An over-riding strategy is paramount to the success of our clients as well as our own business, and nothing can be achieved without this borne in mind. • You have to have worked in the trenches, before you can marshall the troops. My time as a Support Technician gave me a grounding and awareness of what can and often does happen in the world of hands-on support. This has proven vital in my understanding of the teams I run at THUSA, and has helped me to understand the development paths of all those under my care.
