• Assist Sports Operations Management in maintaining DIRECTV corporate policies and Sports Operations department guidelines, while creating a positive and productive work environment.• Support existing and all future Sports Operations work area expansion. I was a board operator during prime time and familiar with all standard operating procedures on all shifts. I coordinated with Traffic and News Director for daily changes to the log and "live" newscast. I was also Technical Director during the weekend’s live sporting events. I was responsible for monitoring the network's computer transmitter and E.A.S. as well as recording satellite content for the daily newscast.

I supervised 16 military and civilian employees who were responsible for recording and transmitting 8-satellite feeds with different television programming to over 160 countries and U.S. Naval ships. Responsible for creating work schedules to meet various mission requirements. I coordinated with Traffic to identify any changes to the daily program log, including any breaking news from the major networks. I integrated the use of the Affiliate Information Network (AIN) Alert System to obtain formats for programs. Ensured all live and tape-delayed programs meet professional broadcast standards. I trained all inbound personnel on station broadcast operations.

I was a board operator during prime time for local and regional sporting events. I was also Technical Director for live local sporting events and coordinated with the on-site producers for commercial insertions during live NBA, MLB and NHL sporting events. I was involved with commercial breakaways and escalation procedures.

I was responsible for eight military and civilian employees in all aspects of television production. I was the primary Director for all prerecorded and live 30-minute newscast. I coordinated with the producer on a daily basis and directed weekly pre-recorded programs. I did the WWII 50th Anniversary live broadcast and live interviews with the Army Chief of Staff and U.S. Ambassador to Germany. I was the primary trainer for all new personnel on all formats of live and pre-recorded programming. I was awarded the "Meritorious Service Medal" for three years of service as Supervisor in Master Control and Television Production for the American Forces Network-Europe.
