The specifics of this research involved the construction of an in house built NMR probe with specialized alloy materials in order to collect spectra and relevant relaxometry data on aqueous solutions at pressures beyond 20,000 atmospheres. The technique was further adapted to be used in both a conventional high field magnet and a low field MRI magnet, in order to make it more versatile and accessible.
