Responsible for providing thought leadership and supporting the president on university-wide future-focused strategic initiatives. Manage and sustain relationships and represent the president with select organizational partners. Lead strategic initiatives to increase enrollment, strengthen the brand, and solidify competitive advantage. Research emerging educational, political, demographic, and economic trends. Serve and represent Linfield interests on relevant community-focused boards, communities of color coalitions, citizens advisory councils, chambers of commerce, economic development partnerships, business advisory groups, public and private schools, and non-profit organizations.

Identify processes, consultants, and administer workshops and presentations for faculty recruitment and retention. Implement strategies to enhance cultural competency. Establish and cultivate relationships with community partners.

Oversee and administer federal, state and institutional financial aid programs for all students on the Portland Campus.Award funds on the basis of financial need and/or merit to eligible applicants.Electronically certify and disburse all Stafford, PLUS and alternative loans. Supervise the administration of work-study and outside scholarship processes.Maintain professional expertise in federal and state laws impacting financial aid regulations and the responsibilities of the college.Utilize the authorization of professional judgement to resolve issues of financial aid eligibility.

Provide Financial Aid Counseling to parents and students regarding the application process, federal requirements, award interpretation, scholarship preparation and research, and loan options.Administer various federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs.Oversee and administer various institutional and endowed scholarship programs.Assist Nursing Workforce Diversity students in securing external financial aid resources. Responsible for the Office of Financial Aid in the Director’s absence.Conduct Path To Scholarships® workshops with Linfield students.Conduct Scholarship and Financial Aid outreach to local high schools.Provide training to partner non-profit agencies and their education staff.
