I was originally hired as a programmer and was shortly promoted to management. Responsible for software, computer hardware and networking related services within three hotels. Provided support for an average of 150 users. During my first month in the company a hardware related failure on the PMS server stopped the operation of the three hotels. Since it was a legacy system, replacement was impossible. By converting the unbootable system to a virtual machine I was able to restore operation within a few hours.
