I joined the business unit Proximity Finance which provides micro-lending to smallholder farmers. Since Proximity Finance is rapidly growing, my assignment focuses on building the institution with policies, business processes & controls and contributing to the capacity building of the organization.

The RDW is a public service provider in the mobility chain and carries out tasks in close cooperation with various partners from all over the world. The goal of this assignment was to find a solution that empowers the employees to serve their partners with the information that suits their specific needs and in the meantime represents the corporate identity of the RDW. To achieve this result I defined and analyzed requirements from all the stakeholders. I also performed market research and a benchmark at other organizations. As a result I was able to define different scenario’s and advise on the best solution.

The Namaste Foundation founded a micro finance project in Nepal. To move forward with their ambition to grow, I performed research, in cooperation with our local partner to the best strategy to guarantee sustainability and growth of the project. This research was the base for attracting sufficient funding for the development of a Woman Empowerment Center where nowadays many female entrepreneurs are trained in how to start their own business. Besides this, I supported operational processes and had an advising role in process improvements.
